Letter from the Administrator 3/16/2020
This weekend CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) required all Nursing Homes to implement Social Distancing and to cancel communal dining as well as all group activities, such as internal and external group activities. Residents who need assistance with eating will be able to eat in the dining room area but not in close proximity to each other. Most activities will be 1:1 room visits and small group activities will be held at designated times. The Therapy Department will ensure all residents entering the therapy gym are not in close proximity to each other and they will be limiting the number of residents allowed within the gym to ensure there is no overcrowding. The facility has implemented and will continue active screening of all staff and vendors entering the facility for fever and respiratory symptoms. Visitor restrictions currently remain in place. If you have a family or loved one in an end of life situation please reach out to the social worker for assistance. All families that would like to arrange a facetime or video chat with their loved ones should put their request in with social services or leave a message to arrange a phone call at extension 117.
We thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this time.
