To ensure the safety of our residents and employees we are continuing Covid-19 testing of both Resident and Employees at this time. In transparency the facility currently has no residents or employees that are positive for COVID-19. As per the Newark Department of Health & community Wellness, it has been at least 28 days (two incubation periods of 14 days) since the last case with no subsequent cases reported from our facility. We are happy to report that they have concluded this outbreak as of 9/4/2020. Unfortunately, we suffered with the total loss of 20 Residents to the Covid-19 virus. We are happy to announce that we have had over 100 residents successfully recover from COVID-19. We ask that everyone remains vigilant with PPE & mask usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing.
Sinai continues to arrange scheduled & supervised outdoor visitation by appointment only. Please note these visits are scheduled Monday-Friday during the time period of 11:30am- 1:30pm. Visits will be limited to 15 minutes per visit at this time in order to accommodate as many scheduled visits as possible. ** Please Note – visits may be cancelled / rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions such as Rain or Temperatures above 90 degrees**.
