Letter from the Administrator 3/31/2020

We are updating you today while this world wide pandemic creates a new reality every day, even every hour.

At Sinai Post Acute Nursing & Rehab Center we have taken proactive steps to stop potential spread and reduce the risk.  At the time of writing this letter we don’t have confirmed Covid-19 cases in the facility, although we recently had several of our residents in the hospital who tested positive for Covid-19  and are still in the hospital.  Our thoughts & prayers are with them and their loved ones for their full recovery.

As the information and circumstances rapidly change we will continue to keep you updated with the most current information via this newsletter.  Our dedicated team of social workers can help facilitate video phone calls with your loved ones, please contact your social worker directly or you can call 973-483-6800 x117 to set up a phone call. We would like to continue to encourage all residents to be mindful of social distancing at all times.

Our main goal as a facility is the safety of our Sinai Family, the residents, staff and all our extended family members.  We have secured sufficient Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) four all our staff, our heroes, who are in need for it in order to reduce potential spread.  Based on the information we have, we expect this pandemic to continue and we are taking unprecedented steps to ensure safe and quality care as always.  We understand your concerns and worries, and we are here to answer address and act with all the options we have available to us.  We continue to follow all guidelines from the NJ Department of Health (both local & State0 as well as CDC and CMS.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for showing their support and dedication to the well-being of our residents as well as our staff.  We hope to reach the end of this pandemic as quickly as possible.  Best wishes to all, stay healthy & safe!
