Dear Sinai Residents, Employees, Families, Friends, and Doctors;
I hope this letter finds you Healthy & Safe!
Covid-19 testing of both Resident and Employees continue at this time. In transparency the facility currently is proud to announce that there are NO Residents in the facility that are positive for COVID-19, 210 residents pending weekly results and unfortunately, we suffered with the total loss of 20 Residents to the Covid-19 virus. We are happy to announce that we have had over 100 residents successfully recover from COVID-19. We will continue weekly testing for now to remain vigilant as the world around us starts to reopen. We will continue to track these numbers and inform you of the changes as they occur. We ask that everyone is being vigilant with PPE & mask usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing.
The Rehab Gym for Therapy services opened July 1st with a maximum of 4 residents being treated in the gym at a time. Please note that Residents currently on the new / re-admit quarantine unit as well as those on the Covid unit or those currently ill will not be able to participate in group activities until they are cleared.
Sinai is excited to announce that the facility will begin scheduled & supervised outdoor visitation by appointment only beginning July 8th, 2020. Please note these visits will be scheduled Monday-Friday during the time period of 11:30am- 1:30pm. Visits will be limited to 15 minutes per visit at this time in order to accommodate as many scheduled visits as possible. To Schedule an outdoor visit please contact the social worker or leave a voicemail at 973-483-6800×117 and someone will return your call to schedule a visit.
