6.30.21 Letter To Families and Friends

       Dear Sinai Residents, Employees, Families, Friends, and Doctors;

 

I hope this letter finds you Healthy & Safe!

To ensure the safety of our residents and employees we are continuing Covid-19 testing of unvaccinated Residents & Employees and those that are symptomatic. The facility has ended its outbreak mode at this time. In transparency the facility currently has 0 residents that tested positive for Covid-19 in the facility and 0 Covid positive residents that were newly admitted to the Covid Recovery unit from the hospital.  There are currently 0 employees that has tested positive for COVID-19.  Unfortunately, we suffered with the total loss of 22 Residents to the Covid-19 virus.  We ask that everyone remains vigilant with PPE & mask usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing.

 

Covid-19 Vaccine Clinics at Sinai Post Acute have been taking place continuously since 12/30/2020.

Our pharmacy provider is now providing vaccination clinics that will be made available for new admissions and residents / staff that have not yet received the vaccine every few weeks – Next Scheduled Date is 7/20/21.  We continue to encourage all Residents, Employees and Families to get vaccinated at this time!

 

Any family/friend that would like to arrange for a facetime phone call, outdoor visitation, or any other visitation can contact Ms. Marie Valentine from 8:30am-3:30pm at 973-483-6800 ext 143. Please note all visitation must be scheduled in advance and limited to 20 minutes for outdoor visitation and up to 2 hours for any type of indoor visitation.  In order to keep all of our residents and employees safe we ask that all visitors entering the facility for any indoor visitation that are not fully vaccinated to be tested for covid-19 using the rapid antigen testing before entering the facility – there will be no charge for this testing. ** Please Note – outdoor visits will be cancelled / rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions such as Rain or Temperatures below 45 degrees or above 90 degrees**.   All visits may be cancelled if resident or visitor are feeling ill.
