Dear Sinai Residents, Employees, Families, Friends, and Doctors;

 

I hope this letter finds you Healthy & Safe!

To ensure the safety of our residents and employees we are continuing Covid-19 testing of Employees and Residents Weekly at this time.  In transparency the facility currently has 1 resident that tested positive for Covid-19 and 1 new Covid positive resident newly admitted to the Covid Recovery unit.  There are currently 0 employees that are positive for COVID-19. The facility is currently in outbreak mode.  Unfortunately, we suffered with the total loss of 20 Residents to the Covid-19 virus.  We ask that everyone remains vigilant with PPE & mask usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing.

 

Sinai continues to arrange scheduled & supervised outdoor visitation by appointment only, during the hours of 11:30am- 1:30pm. Visits will be limited to 15 minutes per visit at this time in order to accommodate as many scheduled visits as possible.  ** Please Note – visits will be cancelled / rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions such as Rain or Temperatures below 45 degrees**.  To Schedule an outdoor visit please contact the social worker or leave a voicemail at 973-483-6800×117 and someone will return your call to schedule a visit. Please see the website for visitation rules and regulations for visiting at this time.

 

Any family that would like to arrange for a facetime phone call, outdoor visitation, essential caregiver visit, or end of life visit can either contact the social services department or leave a voice mail at 973-483-6800×117.
